Governor DeWine visits Cortland

Governor Mike DeWine – The Cortland Police Department was honored to host Ohio Governor Mike DeWine on Friday, August 19, 2022, to discuss the department’s $112,097.00 grant to fund an officer assigned to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.  Several other area law enforcement agencies were also represented, including Bazetta, Hubbard, Warren and Boardman.  Mayor Petrosky also spoke with the Governor about the purchase of the Farmer’s Bank Building as well as the downtown revitalization and strategic plans.
