The Cortland Police Department is looking for experienced part time officers. Officers are paid $14.00 per hour and double time on holidays worked. Officers shall receive a minimum of 3 hours should they be required to appear in court in an off-duty status. They are issued a city owned firearm and radio and receive a $150.00/year uniform allowance. The City of Cortland is a participating community of the Trumbull County Transit System which offers community rides to Cortland residents at discounted fares.
Peddlers/Solicitors are required to have a City permit on them at all times
Permitted Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time, No Sundays or holidays
