Pearl Park

  • Don Wittman spoke with John Picuri.  According to John, LOSA met for a board meeting with a scaled down version of the plan; presented by Ed Jacubick.  Nothing has been approved, still in discussions/due diligence to make sure they can undertake the job.
  • Don Wittman suggested donating or selling the property to LOSA if they are going to be the primary user. Mayor Moll said he would need to talk to council about this issue.
  • Mayor Moll brought up the issue of how we can pay to maintain property as the city acquires more and more.
  • It was decided that Don would need to talk to John Picuri and as it stands now there is no update and we are waiting on a plan from Ed Jacubick with cost estimates and commitments.
  • Possibly roll into request for grant?  What’s the timetable?  Volunteer help can be difficult with grants.

Eastlake Park

  • Waiting for money for parking lot and driveway.  Zach is confident we will get the money.  Can’t get across driveway; making a temporary one.  City has a 30” concrete pipe for a culvert.

Willow Park

  • Space/storage issues between tennis, baseball and the beautification committee in the storage shed.  Need to separate departments.
  • Mayor Moll talked to Russ Masaitis about tearing down counters and doing a scaled down drawing of the building for arrangement ideas for shelving/storage.
  • Don Wittman will talk to Dave Christner about contacting LAC to see how much space they need.
  • Mayor Moll will draw up plans and talk to the beautification committee.

  • Holiday Lighting –The city will put up snowflakes and take them down.  Main Lite will donate truck and pay for Doug’s time.  Don will check on Doug’s availability and will schedule during the week.  Mayor Moll agreed it would be worth the cost.

Frank Daughtery made a motion to adjourn, seconded by James Gibson. All Ayes.
